Would you break a factory set (unsealed)? Why or why not?

Would you break a set? If so when? Why or why not?

    My top considerations would be
    1) Age of set- Are the players still playing?
    2) Storage space available- Is it worth it to lug a set around when there are only a handful of cards making up most of the value?
    3) Collectibility of the set- Is it a commemorative or anniversary edition? High end?

I know we have a lot of set collectors here, and, while I’ve never been a huge set builder, I have several sets in my collection. What are your opinions? Any rules of thumb to follow? Does factory set vs built set make a difference in your mind?

Really would depend on the set and why it is being broken up. Some sets actually sell for less than the superstar rookie in them so why wouldn't you break those if you had them? You'd get more money and you would just be moving one card.
