Need advice from veteran collectors
I am getting back into collecting and am starting from scratch, I have a couple questions, first what is the best way to build my collection, should I buy boxes or should I buy cards? Also since I have been away for a while I dont know who would be a good person for me to collect, I am a bears fan and was thinking about benson, but I am not sure how expensive his cards are, I am looking for someone who's cards I can get a resonable price.

singles are the way to go....boxes are way to hit and miss these days!!
as far as a player, obviously the bears are a hot team....benson isn't a bad choice....his stuff is still fairly affordable (nice autos are still pricey though)....honestly, if i was a bears fan, i might look at one of their defensive stars (other than urlacher)....there are a few to choose from and D players are always cheaper than the skill players.

i wouldn't go benson, as long as tj is here, he won't be the featured back
think about these:
- mark anderson, have looked forever for his score rc, it is almost impossible to find, he is on pace for defensive rookie of the year with i think 8 or 9 sacks
- nathan vasher, future of the bears secondary and gets a ton of interceptions
- bernard berrian, becoming their best deep threat and receiver at that
from a bears fan, hope you find someone to collect.
thanks,
ryan

I personally like to buy boxes rip them and trade for what i collect. as for as players to collect You should go with hester or Ricky or danny manning their some younger stars.

I would go with Mark Bradley, with everyone focusing on Berrian he could get some looks and he has sick speed.
