    Price Guide question

Hi all! So, it's been a while since I've been in the hobby and I need updated pricing. I was looking at Beckett all access and it's $40+ a month! Is Beckett Sports Card Monthly magazine worth buying or should I just do all access online? I wasn't sure how far back BSCM monthly went or if it was like a modern day Tuff Stuff. Also, do they still sell physical copies of each sport pricing guide anymore or only the BSCM?

It really depends on how many cards you have and from what years. If you have a lot then it *might* be worth it but most of the time Beckett online price guide is totally not worth the money. My advice would either be purchase it for the month, look up everything and then cancel it the next month. You aren't going to see a lot of changes after you looked them up but that is only going to work if you don't own that many cards. If you have a lot I would either recommend purchasing a Beckett Almanac (a really thick book that costs around $40 online) or buy an online subscription with multiple people and split the cost.

I thought price guides weren't' really accurate. And usually price guides imop have the absolute top hail mary
price you could receive for the card.
I thought the only real way to deteremine value is to check comc, and check recent ebay sales?

It seems like most people really selling are checking sold EBay prices. There are still the diehard who will only do Book Value. Most people agree on going by Beckett for trading.
