    Don't really like the move for the Yankees. Why add payroll to get rid of Sanchez? The team desperately needs another good starter (maybe 2). If they didn't have the money for that why add a Twins salary dump?

    I agree and I don't think Donaldson is helpful for the Yankees.

    It isn't so much that he won't be helpful but you basically replace a guy in Sanchez who was going to be gone from the team at the end of the year for a guy that has 2 years left on the contract so the Yankees will be on the hook for Donaldson next year too. That wouldn't be horrible if the Yankees had a need at 3rd but they already had several guys who could play there and now they have a need at catcher. I would have just preferred to stick it out with Sanchez this year and use the money to buy a much needed starter for the team.

    hit his 5th or sixth yesterday or day before,. not a huge donaldson fan.
