What do you guys think????
So the cardshop guy I'm starting to think doesnt know basketball very well. Maybe he does and just likes to give good deals or he really doesnt know it at all. Baseball and football its hard to get a deal out of him.

well, there's a card shop at my mall that offers mostly football cards. i live on the edge of sw mo, which isnt too far from both kansas city and tulsa, two huge football centers. most people dont care too much about basketball, so they sell some basketball cards in bargain bins for 50 cents per card. i've gotten low serial #ed and pretty nice rookies there before, many cards that booked from $5-$12.

okay. yeah this guy sells his football and baseball really high. he basically tells me yeah basketball "im easy to work with" hes got thousands of inserts and rookies.

yeah i was in kc mo a couple weeks ago. i visited a shop there and was talkin to the owner. and he thought it quite odd i was askin bout basketball and he said basketball doesnt sell and its just baseball and football that sells there.

So lucky. I have too much experience with merchants that not only know their stuff, but try to exploit people with money by overcharging on everything. What they don't realize is I know the value of cards, AND I don't have any money. :p Cards that should be affordable (would be affordable on eBay/naxcom) would be marked up so high that even if I could afford it and really wanted the card, I wouldn't buy it.
I guess that's one reason I've stopped buying.
