NFL Considering Eliminating Pro Bowl Game And Replacing It With ‘Alternative Events’

According to Mark Maske of the Washington Post, the National Football League and it’s team owners discussed the possibility of eliminating the Pro Bowl during the annual owners meetings in Atlanta.
Maske notes the league would still look to maintain the event, perhaps a seven-on-seven competition with no tackling during the week off between the conference championship games and the Super Bowl it if does indeed decide to drop the Pro Bowl game.
NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport added the NFL could use that Sunday as a way to showcase players who are voted to the Pro Bowl without holding an actual game.

May as well, last years was flag fb. I'd eliminate the whole thing.

Yeah I'm fine with eliminating the actual "game". Ever since they moved the game to before the Super Bowl and SB bound teams aren't eligible I've lost what little interest I had in the game. Make it some sort of fan event along with skills-based games or just a bunch of them in a Madden tournament.

No loss since they moved it and like mentioned above, it is like flag football and the championship team players can't play!
BakeLooking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!
