@toddgreen
I wonder if he could’ve gotten a longer term deal.

I hope Steinbrenner is saying Judge will be a Yankees for life and maybe Captain! Chapman, Britton will be gone! Donaldson, Hicks need to go. We signed IKF to a new deal.
BakeLooking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!

I think Torres has been in the Yankees trade mind for awhile but if we can get pitchers that would help!

Pitchers are hardly a sure thing. Cole hasn't been what thought he'd be and bullpens are hard to put together, two dominant BP pitchers at begining of yr, NYY, and MIl-SD closers not the same. diaz lousy in 21, good in 22, who knows,

They’ll have michael king back, no more chapman or britton, so the bullpen’s already better. If wandy peralta stays mr reliable and luetge and Schmidt relatively dependable, and they can keep holmes at a steady pace and not the greatest reliever of all time followed by a disaster artist, they’ll be golden. No need to trade a second baseman who can hit 25 to 30 home runs per year and isn’t a free agent until 2025 for a relief pitcher. They can just invite a bunch of guys to spring training and fond another sleeper.

I was sad when I heard the Pirates picked him up and did good for them! I agree Todd with your comment about the Bullpen as long as Chapmen and Britton are gone!
