The only thing that allows Donaldson's lousy year to fly under the radar is how much worse of a year Gallo is having. I think what is really important will be getting Chapman and Loaisiga straightened out and getting Stanton healthy.

Gallo is going to go one way or the other. Once Stanton returns, somebody has to go. They have been only using Gallo for late inning defensive purposes since acquiring Benintendi. So, if they can't trade Gallo, they will probably just have to waive him.

The Montas acquisition will help, although Sears pitched well during the few opportunities he was given to start.
