They are reeling. Play sox next in Boston, ,,Sox horrible, watch em take two of three.

So much for historic start. Judge hitting 60+ homers means nothing w/o world series appearance..

The YANKEES started this season with one of the BEST starts in MLB history. However, since then they've fallen back, and a few "other" teams in MLB now have a better W-L record than they do. Also, if the YANKEES keep having the w-l they been having recently, three of the "other" A L East teams (if they keep at their present w-l rates) could PASS the YANKEES before the end of the season (and that includes the "BIRDS", who a lot thought they'd have been almost as bad as last season). The A L East could get real interesting in the final , approximately, 50 season games.

Anything can happen, but the AL east isn't anything to write about. The only team over 500 in the last 10 games are the O's. they all start to play
each other quite a bit now.

I think the A L East "is something" to "write about". The A L East is "the only" division that has four teams at .500 or better . At one time, not long ago, ALL FIVE were at .500 or better. It is going to be even more interesting as they "start to play each other quite a bit". Last year the "BIRDS" were already out, no way to get to the top. Now, even though all four are 10 games or more behind the YANKEES, they have gotten much closer than they had been. In fact, a while back, the "BIRDS" were 20 games back. Now, they've almost "cut" that in half AND STILL there are at least 50 games to catch up. So, in the A L East, it could be a good, and close, final part of the season.

Wow 1 run in 3 games, 2 shutouts! Rays are 9 games back and Orioles are playing great. Yes, only division with 4 teams over 500. Judge is running away with the HR title since Schwarber is out and no one is really hitting HRs much lately. I think the Yanks are hoping to get to the playoffs and hope they get a rally going. Yes if Judge hits over 61 HRs and no playoffs that is not worth bringing up. We have been through slides before, but this is crazy!

Maybe his thread should be renamed "The Wild Numbers of the Yankees Historic Collapse"
