FT Many MLB HOF Autos/Gued/Gued Patches

Only comparable card I found on the bay BIN $99 but cha-9 inscription "Silver Slugger". (Prefer auctions to judge the true "worth" of a card, though) Looks just like my cha-2 "Lou Gehrig Award". So looking for a comparable sell figure.

Yeah that's a good price for it. I've been upgrading my Pete Rose autographs and this would top what I have now. But I was checking out COMC.com to see what type of inscriptions they did for the product and came across this:



I never knew they made a licensed autograph of Rose before. I don't know if you did. I know they had some 80s thing that I don't really count but I always wondered if card companies could get around the loopholes with buyback cards. Now I totally hate all buyback cards but if I was able to get my hands on one of these or similar I would place them above the Leaf ones.

So for now I would pass but I really don't anticipate myself coming across one of those buyback Rose autographs so if we ever do a larger deal I wouldn't be against upgrading the Rose but I just really don't want to have it the focus of the deal to have to upgrade my collection again for a Rose that ultimately could be upgraded again. Rather just use those resources to something else I don't have versus on upgrade. So sorry about that.

May I ask about what range you paid for the Rose? If it is going to cost me like $500 or more I'd just rather stay logoless. Don't need any specific dollar details but just a range or comparable to another HOF guy's autograph would be good enough. If not no big deal as I don't want to be intrusive.

If I bought it, sure it would not be 3 figures as I would only do that for a hof star. But I think I got it in a trade a few years back. No idea what I traded. One (#8/14) sold $49.99 or best offer and the best offer, whatever it was, was excepted.

No I have a bunch of Rose autographs but thanks for the offer. I just collected HOF autographs (1 of each) but basically don't like the new people they are electing and have instead opted to upgrade and go after things like patches and jumbo patches instead of the "older" guys. I have a couple of Rose because he is going to get into the HOF at some point and I'd rather stock up on his autographs than Harold Baines type players.
