I lost my Mother and Grandfather to this damn disease. While there are new treatments, and promising drugs and other therapies in the works, like Devlin said, there is no cure.

Chris Snow with the Flames organization is going through experimental treatment that has allowed him to have a great quality of life since his diagnosis, but there are so many little differences in the disease itself and how the disease affects people differently. Someone diagnosed could have 5-6 Months as my Mother and her Father had, to years, to even decades like Stephen Hawking (very rare).
