True, but it's not completely over yet. The odds are definitely against the "BIRDS", but not impossible. If Seattle wins four out of its last eight the "BIRDS" can't pass them. However, if the "BIRDS" can finish out with a winning streak and Seattle losing six out of eight, they can make it. Slim, very slim, but not impossible. "It ain't over 'til it's over", and that hasn't happened yet. Who'd have thought in the beginning of the 2022 MLB season that there would be comments like these here. The 2022 "BIRDS" have woken up those who follow baseball. If they could do this in 2022, after having only 52 wins in 2021, what will they do in 2023 ? Have a good day, Rodney

No playoffs for the "BIRDS' this season. But a really GREAT improvement from last year. If the "BIRDS" get one more win, out of their last five, they'll have won 30, YES 30, MORE games than they won last year (they were 52-110 in 2021). I can't remember ANY MLB team in the history of baseball to WIN that many more games in a following season. Their manager should get MANAGER OF THE YEAR, without even being in the playoffs. Watch out MLB, who knows how well they'll do next year (they didn't get over .500 this year until they had played more than 90 games).

The "BIRDS" secured their WINNING 2022 season by beating the YANKEES 3-1. Also, they kept Judge from "breaking" Maris' HR record (he's tied it, but not yet beaten it). The "BIRDS" will now finish the 2022 season with AT LEAST 30 MORE WINS than they had in 2021. I wonder if the increase of WINS from one season to the next that the "BIRDS" did this season is a new MLB record. If their season isn't a new MLB record, what team in MLB history has that record ? Watch out A L EAST, and the rest of MLB, for the "BIRDS" in 2023 !!! Great season "BIRDS" !!!

It was amazing to watch them play this year!
Rutschman is a core player to build around for the next 10 years
With their new ballpark dimensions, they should be looking to sign the best power hitting left-handed batter they can find in free agency

I hope they build around him and the other young O's and beat up on Blue Jays and Rays!
BakeLooking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!
