Wow, we made it! Now the true test is, can anyone stop the Astros! The Astros won the season series from the Yankees. Judge can't strike out as many times as he did in the Guardians/Yankees series. Verlander is hard to beat and even harder at home.

I have a good feeling about Taillon today, but it's all about outslugging the Astros because they are just relentless. NYY needs to knock Verlander out early or at the very least run up his pitch count so Baker has to pull him after 5 or 6 max. We'll see. Hicks is out after that collision yesterday, Wonder if LeMahieu will be activated or they'll bring Marinaccio back.

I believe LeMahieu will be activated. Verlander has a mediocre post season record, 0-6 with ERA almost 6 for W.S.. 14-5 in playoff .
Houston BP awfully good, team also puts the ball in play.
Yanks strike out way too much.

Wow, no LeMahieu hurts, Hicks hasn't really done much this whole year! Need to get to Verlander but the BP is good. Need to cut down on K's and put the ball in play more! Don't want to let the starting pitchers got too long because the Yankees BP is not what it should be! Hope it is a good series!

18 yankees Ks, 2 astros Ks. where’s the eye roll emoji on this thing? Montas served up a bomb. Schmidt is being run ragged. Carpenter hasn’t had enough at bats to settle back in. Donaldson is completely lost at the plate, if only they could’ve gotten lemahieu back. At least the future seems bright with Bader. The good news is, at least it’s a long series. Hoping we can still pull this off
