I think he knew something was up and he hasn't been any good this whole year. Bye bye Chapman! Lots of changes ahead for the Yankees!

When he was at his peak, he was a dominant closer
But something wasn’t right with him on the mental side of things
On the wrong side of 30, looks like he will be barely hanging on to making an MLB 25-man roster going forward

I know the Yankees will not keep Chapman, but the others probably have a chance! I think Donaldson should go! I think Torres will be a trade bait! Hicks should go! I see a lot of changes going down after the World Series!

I'm not so sure of anyone taking Donaldson;s or Hicks contracts. I'd hold onto Torres.

A long time coming. Not even close to being a hall of famer in my opinion. Just to name a few...John Franco, Sparky Lyle, Billy Wagner all have higher career WAR than Chapman and none of those guys are ever getting in (even though I'd argue they should). Besides, Chapman's career is still tainted by that domestic violence incident in my opinion. I haven't been a fan of him since. Wonder if that will count against him regarding the HOF voter's clearly firm stance on "integrity."

Donaldson doubtfully going anywhere.
They'll try to move Hicks because Bader and Cabrera are the real deal.
I see Taillon to STL to be with Jordan Montgomery
Rizzo re-ups with NYY
Benintendi not so sure about (don't think there's any room for him even if he wanted to stay),
Severino team option gets picked up
Carpenter re-ups with NYY or goes back to STL with Pujols no longer DH'ing.
Judge? I personally think he leaves for the Dodgers or Giants, unless they name him Captain and give him a contract he won't be able to perform to in the later years (or possibly ever).
Gleyber maybe trade bait if they think Volpe is ready, but I see them having an easier time moving Peraza than Torres.
