How to sell sets
How does a collector go about selling complete sets? What's the best source of price information? How do you find interested buyers?
In case it makes a difference, these are Topps baseball and basketball from the '70s and 1980.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Greetings:
Most people take the average price of what might be sold on ebay throw in the BV into average as well to give you a general price. As for the years you're asking about I'm sure that I might be interested in some of them pending on what years in such. Also not many ate looking for sets unless the main cards are either graded or top of the line. That's just my thoughts on this hopefully I steered you in the right direction.

Thanks for the thoughts. BV is book value? Any particular book?
>I might be interested

Best advice would be to take pictures or scans of the best cards from each set (the high dollar rookies) and then figure out the general condition of the rest of the set. Example the 1975 Topps baseball set has the George Brett and Robin Yount rookies. If those are in great shape but a few of the commons are rough a collector can always replace those to upgrade the set for cheap but if the Yount or Brett are badly damage you will get way less for the set.
You can sell on here but the most eyeballs is going to be eBay. Also the biggest problem with sets is that the shipping now will cost you an arm and a leg so you might have to calculate that after you determine where the buyer is located so you don't get crushed by the shipping cost.Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content
