    COMC question

Another weird question. I see a couple nice cards on COMC, higher end.

I don't have much in my account to make an offer. I would like to reach out to the seller to ask what they would accept but I don't know of any way to contact a seller in COMC?

The alternate is to load up a bunch of money in my COMC account, just to make an offer. If the seller refuses, and the cards are too high $ I have a bunch of money tied up.

So, any suggestions on how to do this?

It's a tough one. The site is designed (IMO) so you can't directly contact anyone. I would imagine they don't want ppl working out side deals, and keeping the money off site.

That being said, you try googling the name? I suspect lots of users use thr same name on COMC as they do on other forums.

only thing i may add is that if you load the money onto COMC and your offers are declined, I believe you would have 30 days to withdraw the money without fees.

But, it isn't possible to my knowledge to contact sellers through comc - you'd have to find them through these boards or elsewhere

I thought there was a way to make an offer and then add funds after the offer is accepted. I'm sure there are limits and rules about this, but this is something you might want to look into. Also, there are typically big Black Friday sales on COMC, so you might want to log in then in case the cards you are looking for are on sale for the price you want to pay.

The easiest way to check is to use the COMC help desk chat function, open during business hours today.

In my opinion, this is what make COMC an awesome platform for selling cards. Sellers don’t have to worry about a buyer making an offer and then never paying for a card. Once the offer is accepted, then the money is immediately transferred.

If the price is close enough, waiting to see if the seller puts it on sale a little bit before Christmas could work. But someone else may come in and buy it so there is risk with this strategy. Could always wait to see if any eBay listings come for sale that allow offers….good luck!

Thanks for the feedback and comments. I did load up some bucks to make the offer, still waiting for acceptance or rejection. I did see that the money can be refunded within 30 days which is helpful.

    Fingers crossed!
