I'm going to ask a dumb question, what makes a card a parallel card?

A parallel card is a base card that has an added feature attached and spans the entire set. Examples are foil, rainbow, gold, Tiffany or Artist proof etc etc. A good example is in any Topps set, you have the base gold cards #’d out of 2022, that is a parallel. Hope this helps. In the 80s or 90s card said I’m looking for, I would be interested in cards like Tiffany’s, Artist Proofs, Press Proofs
