Damar Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest following a hit in our game versus the Bengals. His heartbeat was restored on the field and he was transferred to the UC Medical Center for further testing and treatment. He is currently sedated and listed in critical condition.

Hamlin’s heart stopped, with the medical staff needing to apply chest compressions, a defibrillator, and oxygen to restart his heartbeat and also allow him to breathe.

For over ten minutes, medics worked on Hamlin on-site while an ambulance awaited for his eventual departure to the University of Cincinnati medical center for further treatment.

The Bills safety remains in critical condition is sedated in order to allow a breathing tube to help regulate his breathing.

There hasn’t been much details that have been released regarding the status of Bills safety Damar Hamlin, who remains sedated and in critical condition after suffering cardiac arrest on Monday night.

Jordan Rooney, the marketing representative for the Bills safety and a spokesperson for his family, appeared on ABC’s Good Morning America early today and said that the family is taking it “minute by minute”:
