hey dan, here's hoping he can actually live up to his potential. did you read the release on the Red's site about him? and I quote: "While still climbing his way up the Minors, a 2001 car accident with his parents left Hamilton with an injured back and kept him out for an extended period. That was around the time he became addicted to cocaine and alcohol and frequented tattoo shops on a regular basis. By July 10, 2002, he was suspended after violating Major League Baseball's substance-abuse policies." Nice, very nice.

Hi Ryan....No didn't see anything yet but a guy at work told me the Reds picked him up. Always heard good baseball things about him. So if they did pick him up,where would he play, left, center or right?.....Dan

Honestly, that's a good question that needs to be answered. They also picked up Bubba Crosby (RF) a few weeks ago and i'm not sure where he'd play. This is the thing: if Junior stays in center, that leaves RF open for who? Freel, Franklin, Crosby, Denorfia. Who do you play? If griffey moves to RF, that leaves CF open for who? Freel doesn't have the arm to be a CF. Their OF is confusing. So is their infield. Now, they're talking to Mark Loretta. So waht happens to Brandon Phillips? They have a TON of depth at infield and outfield.

And you didn't know that? He get reinstated last season and was in the D-Rays short-season.

I have 2 Hamilton autos, I can trade one for a Ben Grieve auto.
