Not sure if the patches have been discussed on some of the RPA's from the Cup. They are not all stitched patches. I know they are photo session worn or athlete throws on a Snuggy with a bunch of patches on it..., but what good does four colors do if they have no texture. This is the Hofer RPA that I just got in the mail. I guess I should not have been shopping on my phone. Only the very top is where it was stitched. I pulled a Connor Ingram Rookie Materials patch a while back that was the same. Thought it looked cheap out of regular Upper Deck, but from The Cup it is a little ridiculous. If you are trying to purchase some of The Cup RPA's for your collection, take a close look at any scans or pics cause there is a mix of patch quality.
