I am a little behind in posting from last week

Well I never made it to the Patriots games the week of May 29th against Portland as I did it again.

On Sunday I was rushed by ambulance to the hospital with a severe asthma attack.
I just returned home last night after 7 luxurious days there.
That is the longest time I have ever spent in the hospital and never want to do that again.

Besides me finally getting out there was one good thing that came about the stay.
I had 3 room mates while there. My last one wat discharged at the same time as I. We had spent 3 days talking movies and shows.
He is a Producer, Production and Stage Manager and has worked more on Broadway. His last show was Phantom of the Opera before it closed.
He then moved to TV and worked on the Walking Dead NYC,
He had so many stories to tell it was great.
We only live about 15 minutes from each other and are going to keep in touch.
He is already talking of throwing some Walking Dead items over to my wife.

Since the doctors want me to take my time to build up my strength and heal my lungs I am not sure when my next game will be.
Will take it one day at a time.

    This is from last night

I ventured to my first game in 1 month.

My pulmonologist let me go but I had to wear the N 95 mask while there.
The last home stand is when I was in the hospital.
During that time nothing changed as far as the Patriots signing habits. Only the coaches and 3 players stopped to sign. Even the new players have learned fast.
    Got to love it.

I needed a total a 8 players including new additions and those off the injury list

    Here is how I fared

Blane Abeyta 0/1 0/1 walked by me twice. I must have been invisible
Edgar Barclay 0/1 after the game
    Gray Fentor starting pitcher
Yoendrys Gomez 0/1 walked on by
Zac Houston he backed doored so could not get
Danny Watson he also backed doored
    Mickey Gasper came out late
Aaron Palensky 0/1 0/1 another who passed me twice and did not stop

Corey Saccone 1/1 club house manager pete27
Danny Smith 0/1 strength and conditioning coach walked on by.

I cannot belied how tough its getting here pre game even with trainers and so forth.
    Its such a let down.

Any way I guess it is what is is.
I may have to try a post game down the road but have to build up my stamina for that.
I only was able to last the 1 1/2 hours pre game and 2 innings when I was really getting tired and took a slow walk back to the car and left.

I will take the rest of the week off.
Next game should be next Tuesday against New Hampshire.
Hope fully I get better results.

Thanks for the post Appreciate it.

According to the Doctors it will take me a few weeks to start feeling better.
Just taking one day at a time to regain my stamina which is hard because of the steroids I am on.

Don't worry Ethan I will do my best not to do a command performance and return to the hospital.

Attended last nights Patriots game and met up with pete27 and his wife. Always nice to see them.
I went to the game knowing I could come away empty. Glad I did as only one player Jeisson Rosario stopped to sign for about 20 people then went to warm up. There were players who did not start that came out about 10 minutes after the National Anthem.
No need to list any players as they are the same as last week
Was able to snag one graph for pete27
    Danny Smith 1/1 Strength Coach

I watched for Rodon to depart the game and went outside to try for him.
I waited 30 minutes and the amount of people wanting him grew from about 5 to 20-30.
I was starting to get tired so I figured my health was more important than Carlos Rodon so I left.
Not sure if or when he came out but I was not going to worry.

Next game week of July 4th. Not sure which I will attend.

Went to last nights game between Reading and Somerset.
It was so hot and humid that I had to remove the N95 mask numerous time to actually breath.
My list of Patriots has grown now needing 16 players
While you are reading this please keep the following tune in you mind
The Four Tops IT THE SAME OLD SONG

Blayne Abeyta 0/1 walked on by as usual
    Ryan Anderson 0/1 Ditto
Edgar Barklay back door bull pen
    Gray Fentor 7 day injured
    Yoendrys Gomes 0/1 ditto
    Chris Hampton starting pitcher
Zac Houston I did not see
Jesus Liranzo back door bull pen
    Josh Maciejewski did not see
    Matt Sauer did not see
    Danny Watson 0/1 Ditto

Mickey Gasper came out after start of game
    Elijah Dunham 0/1 started
    Mike Pita 0/1 started
    Aaron Palenslky ditto
Josh Breaux 1/1 started but stopped for me. Would you believe this is my first team auto since 5/2.

Its a shame that I constantly put myself thru 1 1/2 hours pre game for nothing especially since I start to get tired with that time and maybe 2-3 innings of the game before I have to leave.
Being a season ticket holder and having this much difficultly is such a shame
On my way out they had Brutus The Barber Beefcake there for a signing and thought I would see how long the line was but there were about 100 people and there was no way I could handle that.

Next game July 25 against Bowie. This will be the first time graphing the other side and I hope to do better over there. Just need to identify the players on that.

My wife received her Walking Dead Supply Drop box and in it was an autograph photo of Mercer who is portrayed by actor Michael James Shaw.

I did make it to todays day game of Somerset vs Bowie.
I went not knowing what to expect with Jackson Holliday being there.
When I got there the season ticket holders gate was mobbed. I did not know who these people were as I never saw them before but when the tickets were scanned they got in.
By the time I got thru my scanning and went to the Bowie side the stairway was mobbed both sides.
It was actually the best thing for me. I proceeded to the other side of the dug out. Most of the pitchers were warming up and had to go by me. I got quite a few. One even said I had the better spot because they did not really want to sign for such a big crowd. As he said you sign for one then all of a sudden they put a bunch of cards in front of you.
So this what I was able to get on my Bowie team sheet

    Tyler Burch
    Ignacio Feliz
    Connor Gillispie
    Conner Loeprich
    Ryan Long very nice
    Xavier Moore
    Jean Pinto
    Nick Richmond
    Houston Roth
    Kade Strowd
    Wagner Ramirez bull pen catcher.

    Starters
    Carlos Tavera Starting Pitcher
    Connor Pavolony Starting Catcher
    Anthony Servideo
    Jacob Teter
    Billy Cook

Starters who would not sign for me
    Joseph Rosa
    Shayne Fontana
    John Rhodes
    Donta Williams

I have 3 other autos that I cannot make out right now.
One player signed with a number that is not even listed on the rosters.
So I have some research to do.

I still did much better than I expected.

As far as Jackson he did not start but as soon as he came to the fence to sign it was like a swarm of bees all over. He signed for about 5 minutes and left but you could not even get close. I give hive him credit for what he did do. I can see how he can get burned out fast.

I was kind of sad as the game only went 6 innings as I was trying to make it to post for the first time. The sky opened up with rain and thunder so I knew the day was done.

Next game tomorrow night which will be Anthony Volpe bobble head night. Hope the Patriots side is full and the Bowie side is light
