Question about show and private signings

New to the forum and TTM, but I’ve really kinda gotten hooked. I’m curious if there is a resource to find where in person signings are announced. I’m more interested in players from when I collected as a kid in the early 80’s.
If this isn’t the right place to ask, please point me in the right direction.
    thanks!

There are lots of sites that list signings, but the best one that I have seen at this point is Crave The Auto. You also need to follow athletes on Twitter and Facebook, as well as radio stations and local minor league sports teams, who sometimes bring in a former/current pro player.

There's a great facebook group called Baseball Private Signings where promoters list their signings, ranges from players in the 60s to active MLB stars. Also, for a $15/ year subscription fee SportsCollector . net has a great signings tab. I find the signing overlap a bit between that and the facebook group, but has a reviews feature so you can be confident in the legitimacy of the signing and promoter.

Autographs Ink on Facebook is a good place. They have really affordable signings. Usually around $5- $10 range of former players in baseball, basketball and football.

SportsGraphing is another site I use.

And sportscards.net is a best. It's a $15 per year fee but it has everything you want in a site.
