Co-Host The Chase
It feels like we just tore down The Chase set at the 2022 National Sports Collectors Convention, but we are just mere days away from the 2023 National live from Chicago.
The National is essentially the Super Bowl or World Series – whatever sport you prefer – of cards. This is the event where card collectors, hobbyists, breakers industry leaders and more all gather under one roof for five days. In those five days, record crowds surround selling tables, business booths, autograph lines and breaking pavilions for almost 10-plus hours a day.
The Stephens Convention Center in Chicago will be the host of this year’s event and attendees can expect promotions from all the industry leaders.
In this blog, we will give you a glimpse into what to expect from the corporations as you head through the doors of the National.
Tristar

Attendees who purchase Tristar packaged products at the National Sports Collectors Convention are due to receive a Tristar bag & a chance to uncover incredible treasures.
First, purchase any Tristar packaged product on the National show floor from an exhibitor (i.e. Dave & Adam’s Booth).
Next, bring the sealed/wrapped Tristar packaged product over to the Tristar corporate booth #539. The product must be opened at the Tristar booth.
Lastly, visitors will receive a Tristar bag and an entry into our drawings for the chance to receive incredible treasures. Those treasures include autographed items from the likes of Ted Williams, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joe DiMaggio, Ben Affleck, Ken Griffey Jr., Sandy Koufax, Bo Jackson, David Ortiz and more.
Jersey Fusion

Jersey Fusion has two promotions that are being offered to collectors. The first puts you in control as the general manager of your own one-for-one trade.
If you didn’t get your favorite player in your Jersey Fusion pack, they will have a trade table where you can give them one card in exchange for one of theirs, while supplies last.
Say you got a Justin Herbert but you’d like to trade it for a different sport or player, Jersey Fusion will give you that opportunity to execute a trade.

On top of that promo, Jersey Fusion’s exclusive promotion for the National will include a buy three, get one free deal.
Attendees need to buy one of each Jersey Fusion products – All Sport Series 2, 2022 Football Edition and 2022 Baseball Edition. Then, bring all three to booth 2916 (next to Beckett), open them there and turn in the sleeves, you get to pick the fourth one from the Jersey Fusion table at no cost.
PSA
Next, collectors can expect the ability to get their cards graded by PSA in Chicago this year.
PSA announced recently that the deals include on-site, end of show authentication and grading services for cards, autographs & tickets. Additionally, hobbyists can save on shipping with PSA’s drop-off lane for grading submissions at all levels. On top of that collectors can submit to the PSA vault.

Fees for grading include $150 as a collectors club exclusive, with a max declared value of $2,499. Turnaround time for that option is by the end of the National on Sunday.
Additionally, there is a $250 fee for max declared value of $4,999 and turnaround time is by the end of the day that you submitted, as well as a $500 option for max declared value of $14,999, also with end of the day turnaround time.
