    Unusual marking on card

Trading card question if I may.

I was scanning some of my 1984 USFL Topps trading cards today and noticed that on card #48 on the back in the upper left corner a small white circle. So far I have not seen this on any other of the ones I have scanned.

In your opinion what is it and is it a mistake made by Topps or what.

    Just a printing error, probably.
Printing plates can create defects commonly referred to as “fisheyes” or "hickeys" when a particle sticks or bubble forms on the ink.
    Many older cards have them
