QUESTION - How to deal with slick cards?
I'm new AGAIN to autograph collecting TTM. Did it 25 yrs or more ago and have tons of signed cards. I stumbled onto this site and it renewed my interest. I'm retired now and have time to do it. I have a TON of old cards and even mailed one out the other day. I also decided to go out today and buy some new cards. I was looking for Topps Heritage cards but only found Topps Series 1 cards. Here's my question... The cards are all slick and shiny. What are people doing these days so that the ink sticks to the cards? Anything? Back in my day, we would go over the card with an eraser to remove the slickness off of it so the ink would stick.
UPDATE: Saw on YouTube where people are using baby powder and getting better results than an eraser.
Thanks for any help! I appreciate it.

Yup people still do this and outside of Topps Heritage there aren't too many signature friendly surface cards out there. They just make these stupid chrome like surfaces for all the cards now.Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content
