New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham was arrested last night after a 'likely seizure' left him disorientated and wandering the streets, according to his team.

TMZ broke the news that the 36-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance after cops found him wandering in traffic.

In a statement to Mail Sport on Saturday, the Saints said Graham 'experienced a medical episode... which resulted in him becoming disorientated.'

It continues: 'He was taken into custody by local authorities and transported to a local hospital for evaluation for what Dr. John Amoss believes to be a likely seizure and spent the night under medical supervision and testing.

'Amoss met Graham at the hospital and is overseeing his care at this time. He was released this morning and is with the team as they continue preparations for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers.'

The 36-year-old made a high-profile return to his former team this offseason, but his comeback may have taken a big hit with the news of his arrest and reported medical issues.

TMZ reported that Graham was found on Friday night acting erratically near a southern California resort.

It is claimed that he resisted arrest when police tried to cuff him, and he was eventually booked on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, as well as resisting, delaying and obstructing a police officer.

In May 2023, he was involved in a cycling accident when he was hit by a car, suffering a laceration on his calf that required stitches, but it didn't slow down his comeback.
