help with blaster boxes..

Give me your opinion on these 3 ...

Turkey Red
Topps Chrome
Gridiron Gear

in my experience ... stay away from Gridiron. Turkey red I bought 3 blasters and got a lot of base, some parrallel reds, whites, and blacks and one GU. and Topps Chrome, I've only bought one and got a bunch of base and some inserts and a refractor or two.

My preference Turkey Red.

They are going to give you mostly base. The best bang for your buck is Chrome, as the rookies hold very good value compared to Turkey Red and Gridiron. Everyone likes Chrome rookies, while you can't give away Turkey Red base rookies.

I've done better with the Topps Chrome blaster boxes then any of the others although I've had good luck with Donruss Thread blasters also.
As a matter of fact I've done better with five blaster boxes as far as rookies and Autos than I did when I bought a full hobby box of Chrome. They're getting tough to find around my town lately though.

thanks card shark .. i also had good luck with threads .. on vacation i had my gf pick out two boxes of threads and we pulled 2 GUs.. curtis martin and mike anderson .. football game used pieces .. but still nice

Dude you definitley got to go with threads. Im on a lower money level (mowing lawns) than most of you guys so I dont get many hobby boxes and I almost always get threads becaauseI have always got atleast 1 gu and they are only $10 at places like wal-mart were other boxes are $20+

Topps chrome is best...my 2 cents.

Stay away from the GridIron at all costs. You get the ole' shaft with that Blasted box. If you can find a Absolute blaster box go with that. Regardless, good luck and keep us posted. May the Mojo be with you.

imo, stay away of turkey red. go with topps chrome, idk y but i just dont like turkey red.
