    I'd really like to see the Yankees sign Juan Soto because he has had a really good season and is still very young. Maybe he didn't start off the season hot but statistically it is one of the best 2 dozen hitters so far. And when you take into account that he does poorly in San Diego with his home hitting stats and would be going to Yankee Stadium which should be a very hitter friendly park he should get a nice boost in his offensive numbers. They could use all those walks batting lead off or #2 in front of Judge. But he already turned down a truck load of money from the Nationals so it will take tons to sign him and even if they do the team isn't going to be good enough next year. They would need him and Ohtani and even with the signing of those 2 I wouldn't put them as favorites to win the 2024 World Series so why lock in Soto for so much for so many years when the team is going to stink for a few more seasons?
