'06 SP Authentic BB and a BDP Blaster

Didn't expect much with the blaster (and that's what I got). But the SPA really has me fuming. Jered Weaver AU RDEMPTION, Denny Bautista CHIROGRAPHY REDEMPTION (I thought Chirography was for pros), and Marcus Giles Letterman auto (which looks like a band of black fabric on a sheet of white fabric...the black too thin for a jersey name, even!).

First of all, I now have 10...count 'em...10 redemptions with UD since October. If I bought 10 UD BOXES since then, that's a lot. One is an '04 SPX Rookiie. It says "Autographs in house, cards in production process, expect some delays until completion." Well, its an '04 card. Its almost '07. Just how long is the "production process"?!!!

Second, last UD box I opened before tonight was an '06 SPX BB. Check it: Hee Sop Choi GU, Jered Weaver AU REDEMPTION, Joel Zumaya AU REDEMPTION, and Exquisite REDEMPTION (Connor Jackson and some rookie I never heared of). A $120+ box of auto REDEMPTIONS.

Personally, I've had it with UD. I won't buy another pack. Why does a great company like Donruss get eliminated; while a company known for REDEMPTIONS and hot product going out the back door allowed to continue selling BB product?

It would be nice to get a boycott going; but, well, ya know...

I completely agree. And I've said it before, but Authentic was even pushed back a month and they STILL have redemptions. I might understand if the redemptions are from hard to get star players (like Bonds or Jeter) but I felt reemed when I pulled my redemption auto of Emiliano Fruto out of a $100 authentic box. how hard is it to get some no name rookie to sign some autos for extra dough by a certain deadline? if the no name rookie can't get it done by a certain time then they shouldn't be in the set, plain and simple.

The one good thing about redemptions is sometimes they take so long you can pick a list of players to choose from :)

Other than that, meh, it's okay I guess. It better be worth it though.
