    How many wins, Dodgers

That's a super team in LA. I'm going to love rooting against them

I'm not going to deny that they are elite but they lose JD Martinez and replace him with Ohtani and lose a bunch of starters (maybe even Kershaw) to add an untested Japanese pitcher. Not saying I'd take the under on whatever the betting is for their amount of wins next year but I could see a scenario where Yamamoto struggles and Ohtani (who will only hit next year) gets hurt and the Dodgers finish behind the young and talented Dbacks.

Ticket prices are through the roof right now. I heard parking was $65 before all of this, and the food prices are astronomical. As for wins, they can 130 for all I care, just to be bounced in the NLCS!

The DODGERS have NOW become bigger SPENDERS to get players than the YANKEES (who did it for a very l-o-n-g-t-i-m-e).
However, most of the other MLB teams can't afford like the DODGERS and/or YANKEES. So, I really like to see teams with lower player costs to do better in the season than DODGERS, YANKEES, and any other team(s) that pay such HIGH HIGH HIGH for players. Also, as other things are going up (because of their HIGH player(s) buying cost) such as parking, tickets, stadium food, etc, they'll learn that probably fewer will attend and/or buy less at games because of their HIGHER prices. Unless a great change in our economy occurs before or during the 2024 season, baseball attendance and/or buying in stadiums during games, will surely decrease as not as much money will be available for such as food, billls, etc. MUST be paid first. HOPEFULLY the teams that "can't afford" will do better again (some did better last season). In my opinion, MLB should make a LIMIT on the TOTAL SALARY of ALL MLB teams (and that NONE could go over it). It'd be interesting to see how each team would do if they ALL had approximately that same TEAM SALARY.

Hope y'all had a MERRY CHRISTMAS. And, hope ALL of y'all have a good 2024.
