World Junior Championships

Great starts for both Canada and the US this morning, as they both put up convincing victories. It should be a real good tournament and I hope we get another Canada/US Gold Medal Game.

Canada crushed Latvia yesterday, as to be expected.
So far the Americans are running through the Swiss like nobody's business.
It's going to be one heck of a Gold Medal Game.

How about Germany squeaking out that victory over Finland? The Germans played well but the Finns were just brutal in their own end. Not sure how things are going to end for the Finns but the Germans celebrated like they had won the gold medal.

Well, that ended with a resounding thud, eh? I feel really bad for Matthew Wood, that play is a D-man's worst nightmare.
Cue the multitude of post-mortems from the pundit class.

Canada loses 3-2 and won't win anything this year
