Post Red Sox trade Chris Sale to the Braves for Vaughn Grissom

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/ml...-baseball.html

The Boston Red Sox have traded Chris Sale - their best pitcher, but one who has had an awful injury history as of late - to the Atlanta Braves in exchange for infielder Vaughn Grissom.

In addition to Sale, the Red Sox sent over cash considerations.

Grissom was the Braves' seventh-best prospect in 2022, the year he made his MLB debut.

But congestion at the position saw him demoted to Triple-A Gwinnett at the beginning of the season.

Great trade for the Braves since they weren’t going to let Grissom play. Fingers crossed Sale stays healthy.

Yeah the trade all comes down to if Sale can stay healthy or not. And for the past half decade he really hasn't been able to stay on the field. But when he is on the mound he is usually great. So this trade could end up really good for the Braves if he helps them win a World Series or they could end up with an injured pitcher who just sits on the bench for them with nothing to show for it.
