PWHL debuts today. Who's watching?

Excited to see this new league finally get it's debut today. Nice to see CBC broadcasting the game. Hope this league succeeds. Hopefully enough people get behind this league and give it a chance to succeed.

Hoping it succeeds as well. I always thought a professional women's league needed significant NHL financial backing/partnering in order to succeed long-term. I hope I am wrong, and am wishing all the success to PWHL.

Definitely tuning in this morning! Looking forward to cheering on Montreal (shock!) once they get their season started.

I really hope that, in addition to the sports channels broadcasting as many games as possible, that we'll see an Upper Deck licensing for the League. I've been adding quite a few cards from the Team Canada products, and really would like to see there being cards for these ladies.

Also, congrats to Ella Shelton for scoring the first goal in PWHL history! I met her back in Nov '22 when there was a Canada-US Rivalry Series Game here in Kelowna and she's awesome.

The first period certainly looked promising for the on-ice product, Very entertaining game so far.

New York’s goalie has been fantastic in this game. It felt like the entire second period was spent in their end but she made some big stops. And two quick goals from NY makes it a pretty solid lead at 3-0.
