    Am I the only one.....

that HATES jersey cards that show the player in their current team on the photo, but are OBVIOUSLY using the old team's jersey as the piece in the card?

The most recent was a Steve Nash I was looking at which comes across as pretty obvious when you see the nice Phoenix jersey on the card and the patch has the green/white of Dallas on it.

Just a pet peeve of mine but drives me crazy whenever I see it.

it annoys me sometimes, like when i pulled a ben wallace/ rasheed wallace dual patch /15. the ben wallace was a nice red white and blue patch, but the rasheed was just a hunk of black jersey from his trail blazers uni...... that was pretty dumb to me.

I als odon't care for that practice. I have a Billy Williams card in a Cubs uniform but it has a yellow swatch from his last couple of years with the A's.

Yep same here Rick, I've got an Ivan Rodriguez Detroit Tigers cards but the swatch is definantly from his Florida Marlins days.

GU cards are a blight on the collecting scene. I only collect a few mostly Schaub stuff. I also can't stand the pure white GU, who wants that piece of junk.

I don't like it in most instances. However, I do have a Mike Piazza GU where the picture shows him on the Mets but the stripe is turquoise, from the week he played with the Marlins. I kinda think that's cool.

Yeah, one of the most annoying occurrences in sets has got to be this.

I saw a Piazza "Patch" that was from his Dodger days, but he was shown in a Mets jersey on the card.

    Absolutely annoys me.
