bottom line is if you dont win a super bowl, the season is a wash....and the eagles had 4 VERY GOOD chances that they squandered away....and i said that this is their BEST rushing output in the last 5 years!! they DONT run the ball, that is the kind of mindset their coaching staff has....they would rather throw the ball around....maybe they should look at the stats!! 15th in rushing tds is not good, not bad....it is exactly what the # states, AVERAGE!! given those numbers, i would be furious being 25th in attempts, but in the top 15 in those catagories!! that is just piss poor coaching IMO, and until they learn how to consistantly run the ball, they will continue to squander away opportunities to win championships!! you can talk all the trash you want about my skins, this thread isn't about my skins.....we got our own problems, and im not gonna hijack this thread to express them....the point is until you win a championship you have nothing to be happy about; unless that means nothing to you guys.

lol, i can say it cause it is true!! look at the stats OBJECTIVELY, not as a fan:

they are 25th in attpemts / game
they are 15th in rushing tds
they are 11th in rushing yards

and this is their best year they have had running the ball in the last 5-7 years!! westbrook is barely in the top 10 (with less than a TD every other game, and is not in the top 20 in attempts)....if you knew your team, you would know that brian is more important catching the ball out of the backfield than running the ball....dude, last year their run/pass ratio was like 30:70, and was one of the most lopsided ratio's in nfl HISTORY!!

In 2004 Mcnabb had a passer rating of 104.......why would you run when the ball when your qb is on such a roll?

lol, because you have to run the ball to win championships!!! you name me a team that has won throwing the ball 70% of the time - you cant, because it doesn't happen!! hard-nosed, grind it out football is what is necessary to control the clock which is a must in the nfl.

somebody made an eagles thread, talking like they are the second comming of christ, and i have heard it every year for the past 6....and its always the same old thing....cant win the big one, cant control the clock by RUNNING THE BALL, etc....the nfc sucks BADLY this year, and to think that you have any shot having anything but another playoff exit is laughable to me....again, I KNOW MY SKINS SUCK!! i said i wasn't gonna hijack this thread and give a list of reasons!! the difference is that i can admit the problems objectively when it comes to my teams....it seems that with most eagle fans its the same thing year in and year out....you all act proud of your team, but if i was a fan, i would feel let down at all the chances that have come and gone, i would be furious at the unballanced play calling with no effort to bring in the personel necessary to make such a switch, and i would be upset at the poor play from your defensive front seven.....again, if just being a team with a winning record is cool with you guys, thats fine....but i live in eagle country and have seen more die hard grown men crying, actually in tears after many DISAPPOINTING seasons not winning a championship....maybe you dont take it as seriously as alot of eagle fans i know, but nothing short of a SB ring is acceptable to the guys i know that have watched their beloved eagles (and every other philly team) choke away many potential championships in the last 30 years!!
