Tough situation. Unfortunately, Bedard looked away as he was trying to maintain control of the puck and he got hit. The weird thing is it didn't look like a terrible hit, especially when you watch Bedard jump back up right away. When he was skating to the bench, I thought what most people thought at the time, maybe he lost a tooth or got hit with part of Smith's stick or something.

Either way, hopefully he gets back soon.

Not good for the NHL's marketing or my fantasy pool. I'm now up to 6 guys on IR on my squad, none of which are really jabronis.

Hopefully he'll be back in action in short order, and with the same fire & tenacity he's known for out there.

If anybody has invested in NHL, NBA, MLB, or NFL prospects over the past several years you have taken a bath as all the young stars in these leagues are all jinxed/cursed.

Unfortunately his lack of size may contribute to injuries. Maybe at 18 he'll grow some , add some muscle
