    Question what makes you collect...

what makes you collect who you collect? im just curious why everyone likes certain players.

this year for example i decided to go with rookies with "cool" last names. cool meaning- different, badA$$ (jeremy TRUEBLOOD) or just plain hard to spell.

so i decided to go with two bucs Jeremy Trueblood, and Bruce Gradkowski.i started collecting gradkowski right before his autos went up i could have bought his topps chrome rookie for 10 shipped then it was up to 40 i think its lower now.

and then i pick joe klopfenstein a 2nd rounder by the rams. so what makes you all collect who you collect?

Just have been a life long steelers fan and ever since Andruw Jones came up and hit a couple HR's in the world series I have always liked him.

I collect my favorite players. I saw one of Maurice Jones-Drew's games earlier this year and started to think about collecting him. Luckily for me I started collecting when he started to do extremely well. I'm trying to start mini collections of a few other guys.

I think next year will be fun. If John Stocco enters the draft I'll collect him along with some other Wisconsin guys that enter the draft.

I think I'll buy a box next year and if I get a lot of one guy and he seems like a good person to collect I think I will. I'd like to start collecting a guy at the beginning of his career instead of when he has a ton of cards out and it's nearly impossible to collect a lot of their cards.

i only collect jim thorpe, red grange and bronko nagurski cards. these players are the building blocks of football as we know it. i also don't think there cards will go down too much, by getting in trouble with the law, spitting on other players, or getting hurt.
there are many people who are collecting the hottest players out there and when those players cool off (ie. big ben and i am a steelers fan) people get mad and look at how much $ they lost.
