    New to collecting and need direction for help

    Greetings everyone and thanks to SCF for accepting my registration. I and my 2 sons started collecting cards (mostly baseball) just a few short months ago. We recently acquired a small box of 1970-71 Topps baseball cards that seem odd and would like assistance in knowing if they are normal or unique. Approximately half the pack has blank backs. The card stock appears to be vintage. The blank cards have rough, irregular edges, apppearing to have been cut by scissors. Our thought is that someone obtained an uncut sheet of blank backs and cut them out themselves. Also note that the printed reverse cards say "printed in Canada". Attached are photos of a few cards including players and check lists. Top 8 cards have blank backs, while bottom 8 have printed backs. I can make more photos available if necessary.
