Have a leatherman Supertool? A pair of needlenose pliers & flathead screwdriver work too. Use the cutting part of the pliers to crack the top (above the card, just under the grading label) and then pry the 2 pieces carefully with the screwdriver (don't use it as a lever, insert it between the 2 halves & twist) and the pieces should break apart. Then you can take the pieces with your hands and pull them completely apart. Then cut the plastic around the card itself with scissors.

i dont think there is a "recommended method" for doing so, lol....i have cracked a BGS case, and a few no name companies, but never anything with much value!! after all, they are meant to be there for life!!

i took a hammer and screw driver, cracked the front top of the case (where the label is) and worked from there prying pieces apart....the thing you have to be careful of is the card sliding and getting stuck in a still attached part of the case, thus scratching/creasing the card....i dont think there is a way to just split the sides apart nicely.

It's not that hard, just nerve racking...I've had lots of practice. I can't stand graded cards. My prized break & entry is the Sanders/Sayers/Allen/Dorsett Quad auto I got to complete my set. That was the only one I could find, and it happened to be graded. Card books at $500. It was a tedious job, but nevertheless successful. Try it. You'll see it's not that hard.

I like cards graded by Becket cause I like the cases there in but this PSA graded card isnt graded to make it worth anything extra and I cant stand the PSA cases. Ill kill myself if I wreck the card getting it out lol.
