Coming Soon: Tim Hortons Greatest Duos Hockey Cards
Saw this today, and this is the only check list I have been able to find so far. Looks like Tim Hortons will be continuing a second hockey card release per season. Nothing on there about pricing, but a release date of April 15.
They do have preview pictures of some of the cards, and it looks like they are trying something new with the majority of the cards being dual pictured and no stat/info card back.
Cards are a mix of Alumni, Current NHL, and looks to be PWHL.

After the last release I don't think I will be buying any, but would trade for the Jack Hughes/Dawson Mercer duo.Last edited by mikecole141; 04-06-2024 at 12:20 PM.

Yuck! I'm already having enough of a hard time finding collectors of other stuff, as it is right now, w/ only one Tims set a year; so I'm really not seeing this new release as a good thing at all... I think we should even start an SCF forum just for the Tims cards/collectors...

Looks like some interesting cards in there, and it will be cool to see the first live PWHL licensed cards also. I heard that the price point will be $1.50 per pack, which is quite the jump but such is the times. Hopefully the cards look as great in-hand as a few of those preview photos.
Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

I don’t plan on going all-in with this product but it’s always fun to open a few cheap packs and make some small trades!

After the last Timmies product went to $1.50/$2.99 a pack here in NL I stopped buying, and everything I have, except for PC players, is available to be had. A full two months after the product came out there were still stores in NL that had packs left. If this product comes out at $1.50 I will not buy one pack. There are other products out there that will give better value and better satisfaction for dollars spent. But there is a Bedard in the product paired up with Athanasiou so there will be people willing to pay stupid amounts of money for this product.

It also feels like Tim's is overdoing it by releasing two products a year. Just watering down a nobby that is already way too watered down.

Apparently there were photos with $1.50 with a drink purchase with this release but they were taken down. If the prices go up here in Ontario, I won't be buying a box like I usually do.

well, the one thing with Tims cards is, its easier for younger kids to collect sets.
Plus, on this site, its relatively easier to make trades for those. Trading other things can be a challenge. Vintage card trading? Don't make me laugh! My point is, everything has a time and a place. Unfortunately, you'll see more interest on here for some cup of coffee YG who has no hope of ever really playing in the NHL than you will with more serious cards. It is what it is.

I am still trying to find 21/22 Tim Hortons Hockey Heroes. Not having much luck.
A new set by Tims. Who knows, I may buy a few packs.
