    My herb washington collection

    Greetings:
Herb Washington has only 4 cards in his entire collection & here's my 4 cards from his collection I got the buyback today in the mail

So I wonder if this counts for me to be the Herb Washington super collector here lol I look forward to hearing from others on this accomplishment.

Great job at completing it and that buyback is sweet but did Topps really have to put the buyback stamp there? The whole hoopla with the card is the position being pinch runner and they basically just covered it up. Also would have thought Topps would have done a Herb Washington fan favorites or Archives type autograph card of him before but I guess they never did.

    Greetings:
@pwaldo yeah I am surprised that topps never did that as well done a Heritage Flashback Insert in last years Heritage set cause 1974 was Herb's Rookie season. He only played in 2 seasons 92 games in 1974 & 13 in 1975. He still got a World Series ring in despite being picked off during the 1974 World Series against the Dodgers that involved 3 Ex-Michigan State University Alumni in a play. Herb was the runner Steve Garvey was the 1st baseman the pitcher was Dr. Mike Marshall in Game 2.
