Lots of cards given to me by friend who passed recently. Want to sell but don't want to get cheated
My name is John and I'm a 20-year Air Force veteran. I have two trays of baseball cards I received from an old friend who passed on recently. He gave them to me in hopes I would find the time to take advantage of his collection but I'm not really into baseball cards. I know there are some cards in here I have seen being sold for close to $100 a piece but to be honest I'm not into the tediousness of it all. I have seen cards in here from the 80's to the early 90's. Please text me if you are interested. 863 602 1995. There are a lot of cards here. I'm still researching any help in that would make this much easier.
I don't have a price in mind I just need to find an honest person who wants them and can help me pass these to someone that can appreciate them in a way I just can't.....for a fair price of course...LOL!

Just to let you know, most of the "values" of baseball cards of the '80's-early '90's are "ROOKIE" cards. Most mid '80's-early '90's baseball cards aren't very valuable, due to a huge amount made then. Some "RC's" to watch out for are: RIPKEN, JR - TONY GWYNN - RYNE SANDBERG - ROGER CLEMENS - KIRBY PUCKETT - GREG MADDUX - ROBERTO ALOMAR - GRIFFEY, JR - RANDY JOHNSON - DEREK JETER - "CHIPPER" JONES --- and there is probably a few more, but these are well known. Good luck with moving them. Have a good evening and night, Rodney

John,
I would first like to ask you to clarify this for us.
I have seen being sold for close to $100 a piece
. What card in that box have you seen being sold for a $100. Please let me see the card being sold (not listed on ebay) as many ask for something and never get it. Secondly, a scan of your card as condition is everything.
I can barely make out the top tabs and it looks like Classic and Line Drive and if that is the case those cards are pretty cheap. Now if you have some auto of say a star like Derek Jeter you could be talking some dollars like the $100. Hence, why I ask what you have seen selling for a $100. If you have more specific questions you would like to ask but moving cards like this is a hard thing.
@Wings of men
p.s. Have any questions ask.

I work in a lab 12 hours a day and 50+ hours a week for the most part. Sleep is about as elusive as common sense. I'll take them one chunk at a time. No matter what I find I'll sell the lot of them. I'm not trying to sell one or two cards here and there.
