2024 Topps Chrome Baseball: Box break

Due to a personal situation with me cards and breaking wax has not been on my mind at all but a few weeks ago I took in some cards to the local that I was tired of looking at. Friday, August 24th I stopped by the local to finalize my deal and I got two boxes of hockey in hopes of hitting a Bedard card. NOPE!

With zero luck on hockey as I was leaving the store I got a crazy idea of buying a 2024 Topps Chrome hobby box. Over the years, I have spent thousands on Chrome and have pulled a grand total of ZERO autos you would want to pull! Been beyond bad but I was looking for some relief.

Get home and start to break the box. About 3/4 the way through the box I hit a Nestor Cortez Jr. game worn jersey card with the seal that shows I was actually worn in a game.

Keep busting the remaining packs an NO sign of the auto. I get to thinking Fanatics stiff me on the auto by putting the game worn jersey card in the box?

Get down to the very last pack of the box and still NO auto. I am bummed for sure. But one pack to go.

Okay I got an auto in that very LAST pack of the box and what an auto!!!!

Well I can no longer say I have never pulled a good or great auto from Chrome but now I have!

May all of your breaks be everything you want them to be!
