Question about embedded cards - Dare to Tear, Impulse, Time Capsules
Over the years card manufacturers have made cards with cards inside cards. Jumbo host cards with regular size cards inside, or regular size cards with mini cards inside.
Question is about the lower run/higher value insert cards - are those generally inserted in just the lower run/higher value host cards?
I opened a bunch of Time Capsules, all I got was #/60 mini cards. No #/3, no blank back, no autos. Haven't done the others, Pinnacle Dare to Tear, or Zenith Impulse, but is there any relevance of expecting low value cards inside low value hosts, and high value cards inside high value hosts?
Just a random question, if anyone has any actual evidence, experience, or just general comments would love to hear about it.
Thanks.

That is a very good question and it would be interesting to hear what people who have done a few of the Dare to Tear-type cards have pulled. I remember at a Players Choice break night there was quite a fair amount of 21-22 Ice being broken, and pretty much everybody ripped the Frozen In Ice cards--there were decent hits across the board but nothing that really jumped out in terms of turning a Sean Couturier (no offence Flyers fans) into a Caufield Black Mini /15 or anything like that.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

In the older 90s ones like Dare to Tare and Zenith in both baseball and hockey there was no correlation between a lower run or rarer parallel big card containing a better normal sized card inside. Now this is going off of pre internet opening from card shops and shows and the general area of the country I was in so that could be a small anomaly I guess but I would figure that did hold up for the rest of the country too.
