Was rooting for ped’s cards to get the 10.
Yes he had great fortune in pulling the Paul Skenes us100 platinum rc 1/1 personally I wouldn’t have sent a 1 of 1 for grading but then again I have never graded anything. Saw his reveal video today and the card got a 9 from psa ped’s seemed fine with it as he said there was a small print line by Skenes foot on the front of the card which I never could find but he has the card so I will take his word for it. With that being said I have seen psa give 10’s to cards submitted by the hobby darlings on breakers tv that should’ve never gotten a 10 perhaps if ped’s would’ve let one of them submit it for him a 10 would’ve been the grade. That is why I could never send a card for grading, there are too many intangibles come into play.

Just like life it is all in who you know. You cannot tell me someone at a grading company has never helped a so called friend get a better grade in their submission. I am sure no one will admit to it but we all know the world is ruled by dollars and the hobby is a perfect example in that with all the shenanigans we have witnessed over the years.
