Hartman Suspended for 10 games for 'Roughing' Stutle
The Minnesota Wild will be without forward Ryan Hartman for 10 games after the NHL Department of Player Safety handed him a hefty suspension on Monday.
Hartman is facing discipline after a roughing incident against Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stutzle in their game on Saturday night.
The 10-game suspension is the first double-digit suspension for an on-ice incident since Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson received a 20-game ban for an illegal check to the head in 2018.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, Hartman has 48 hours to decide if he wants to appeal. The first appeal would be to commissioner Gary Bettman and the second would be to an independent arbitrator...

This guy has absolutely no redeeming qualities, his whole intent in that face-off was to injure Stutzle, Hartman never goes for the puck he kicks at Stutzle's stick while sticking his between Stutzle's legs. He then puts his whole body into driving Stutzle into the ice. IMHO Hartman didn't receive a severe enough penalty, it should have been longer.

That was extremely dangerous, and intentional, so yeah I agree.
