PWHL First Edition Success!
I have heard that it is getting very hard to find any of the PWHL First Edition at many card shops across Canada. It's fantastic for the game that it is so popular. I've seen that they're already planning a Series 2 release that will include autographed content and current-year photography with the teams in their named jerseys. I was happy to get my box (results here) and really hope that UD sends me a solid Outburst YG to make up for the one missing from my break.
I'm less thrilled that we're seeing the remaining product get the price absolutely jacked to 23-24 UD Series 2 levels -- this is not how you grow the hobby to a new audience. $440 (on C&C) for a box of this product is larceny. These guys should be ashamed of themselves for this.

I agree that it's great for the hobby and sport at large. We'll be opining a box of this on the podcast soon and I'm excited to see what is inside.

Looks like upper deck going have to do something they've never done before........ over-produce
On a side note, I don't know who in their right mind would pay $400 for this product.
