Retail Rant
I just bought a retail box of Topps football and EVERY pack had at least 3 damaged cards (bent corners/rough edges). Earlier this year I bought a retail box of Score football and a lot of the cards were damaged in that box also. Does anyone else have this problem? It seems no matter where I get boxes anymore (Walmart, K-mart, Dave and Adams Card World) I get damaged cards. I know I can send 'em back and get 'em replaced but I don't feel I should have to pay the shipping and handling. Anyway, i'm just venting.

are you sure you can send retail boxes back to the factory?? pretty sure that is all handled by the retail stores, and they wont touch them after they have been opened.

The Topps Company, Inc.

The only problem I have is that I have over 25 cards to return so how do I return them all if I can only send 25 at a time and I only have one UPC code from the bottom of the box?

I heard from someone that you should NOT send the cards back to them, that they got pissed when they sent the cards back to topps.

It happens to me a lot as well but when I buy a retail box I always inspect it very carefully b/c they cram a lot of them in another box so the corner get crushed. The bottom corner is where the packs start so if there is a mark there I don't waste my time. I did send a card to Topps the other day and spent about $1.00 to ship it and they returned it via priority mail w/ DC for like $5. The whole turn around time was about 6 days!!!
