Help with 2000-01 Topps Heritage Basketball Autos

    Hey guys,

Have any of you ever seen a Rashard Lewis auto from the 2000/1 Topps Heritage set? He's listed on all the checklists, but I've never seen one for sale since the set came out. I know about the Iverson redemption (Topps shafted me on that one), but I wondered if the Lewis autos were never returned either.

Great question! I did a Google search, and I cannot vertify any examples of this card existing. This link at the Trading Card Database shows pictures from the set, but you'll notice it lacks the Lewis and Abdul-Jabbar autos:

He signed for a different Topps set that year, Topps Gallery Heritage Proofs, but it appears he didn't sign for the Heritage set. I remember the Topps Gallery and Topps Heritage sets from that season, and they aren't the same thing - the Gallery cards were glossy while the Heritage had a plain retro cardboard design.

Good catch. I don't think Lewis signed for the Heritage set proper, just the Gallery version that happens to have Heritage in its autograph insert set name. I get nothing on eBay results, either.
