I am trying to learn the details of how Pro Line, Classic Games, and Score Board came to be together in the 1990s. From what I can tell on the cards themselves, Pro Line was it's own entity in the early 90s but in 1993, the Classic Games Inc. branding starting to appear (on the copyright line on the back and in the logos). Then, in 1996, we start to see Score Board (which was owned by the Goldin's and sold autographed memorabilia) branding replace that of Classic. Notabily, the early 1996 Pro Line releases still have classic branding but 1996 Pro Line II has Score Board and that remains until Score Board folded and took Pro Line with it. The last Pro Line sets were 1998.

What I have also read is that when Score Board took over the Pro Line brand, this included unreleased Pro Line autographs. These autographs received a special Score Board embossing and were placed in later products. I know some early 90s Pro Line Profiles autos are like this as are some (if not all) of the 1993 Portraits Arche Manning autos and 1995 Pro Line Boomer Esiason autos. Does anyone know the true story here?

These are some of my favorite sets from when I was a kid and today I want to assemble some of the autographed sets...and knowing the company history and story will help me in that process.
